Soudarshini Valve Private Limited was established in 2017, and the SERINO brand is owned and manufactured at our own facility in Coimbatore. Our Managing Director, Mr. V.L. Sridharan, is a mechanical engineer and metallurgist carrying over five decades in the design, manufacture and marketing of valves, with deep expertise in metallurgy, surface engineering and non-destructive testing.

API, ASME, ISO and BS specifications. Plug valves to API 6D, ISO 14313, API 599 and BS 5353; gate valves to API 6D, ISO 10434, API 600 and API 602; globe valves to API 623 and BS 1873; swing-check valves to API 6D, ISO 14313 and BS 1868.
Which management-system certifications does Soudarshini Valve hold?
An Integrated Management System certified to ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety), alongside the API 6D Monogram licence and an API Q1 compliant quality-management system. Raw materials are procured only from accredited suppliers, and valves are inspected and tested before despatch.
Who leads the company's technical and quality work?
Managing Director Mr. V.L. Sridharan, a mechanical engineer and metallurgist with over five decades in valve design, manufacture and marketing, and deep expertise in metallurgy, surface engineering and non-destructive testing. Over his career he has certified himself in various API ICP programs such as API 510, 570 and 653, and been an authorised ASME instructor for the inspection, repair and fitness-for-service of pressure equipment, training several engineers on API and ASME standards. He is a founding member of the Chennai Chapter of the American Society of Materials (ASM) and the Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ISNT), and served as Chairman of the ASM India National Council.

How does the company keep its people current with the standards?
Through continuous internal training. Every employee involved in design, manufacturing, inspection, testing, quality control and documentation is kept current with the applicable API, ASME, ISO and other industry standards, including new revisions, changes and addendums, so that changes to a code reach shop-floor practice.
